Local Governing Body:
From 1st January 2022, our school became an academy within the Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust (DNEAT).
The local governors within the Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust (DNEAT) are part of a team that is committed to promoting the vision and values of the Trust and the Diocese. We believe that the child must always be at the heart of our work and that our Christian ethos is instrumental in delivery of the best possible educational offer and outcomes.
The DNEAT Trust Board holds ultimate accountability and delegates some responsibilities to the Committees of the Trust Board, including the Local Governance Committee (LGC) of each academy, and roles within the School and Trust Central Team via a document called a Scheme of Delegation.
Local governors work closely with the Headteacher and senior leaders and fulfil their responsibilities through termly meetings and monitoring activities. The Headteacher is responsible for the day-to-day management of the school whereas the role of the Local Governance Committee is strategic.
The Scheme of Delegation can be found here along with the Trust governance information.
The Trust financial information can be found on the Trust website here.
