At Docking Church of England Primary Academy and Nursery, we believe in participation and achievement for all. We aim to create an inclusive culture in our school and respond positively to the diversity of the children’s backgrounds, interests, experience, knowledge and skills so that all pupils, regardless of individual need, make the best possible progress.
Our SEND Information Report describes the range of provision and support available to support identified children as and when appropriate. This is subject to change depending on budgetary constraints and policy review.
All Norfolk maintained schools have a similar approach to meeting the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and are supported by the Local Authority to ensure that all pupils, regardless of their specific needs, make the best possible progress in school. All schools are supported to be as inclusive as possible, with the needs of pupils with Special Educational Need/s and or disabilities being met in a mainstream setting wherever possible, where families want this to happen.
